Abstract

Jack Shieh profiles the Vietnamese Mental Health Service (VMHS), an agency set up in 1989 to promote culturally sensitive services for people from Vietnam who have mental health problems. The agency now employs nine full‐time workers and provides a range of care and support throughout the UK. Since its inception VMHS has provided services to over 450 individuals and their family members.
