TEACHERS AND COUNSELLORS – POTENTIAL ROLE CONFLICT IN THE WORKPLACE

Abstract
In health care settings the trainer or lecturer may be asked to occupy the joint role of teacher and counsellor. This article explores some of the problems associated with such a joint role and suggests that structure and clear boundary setting are the means of managing it.
