Abstract

Offers some direction to the potential expatriate employee destined for any Middle Eastern country. Addresses issues such as personal safety and that of any accompanying family in addition to advice on moving and settling in. Gives details of support and help that can be employed. Concludes that as the culture differences with the West are so huge, only preparedness and thorough understanding based on cultural background will really support the individual.
