Global delivery of education via the Internet
Abstract
Describes the issues associated with global delivery of education via the Internet, as well as the academic, technical, administrative, instructional, and behavioral considerations. Also presents a course delivery prototype, which has been designed to serve as a shell for the development of full‐length courses. The paper’s position is that eventually a cyber‐academia will be progressively formed, with its own culture and institutions, which will meet the needs of those who are time or place constrained.
