Abstract
Discusses the issues associated with managing information technology (IT) infrastructure in large organizations. Presents a definition of IT infrastructure. Uses the hands‐on experiences of an IT practitioner to present lessons learned and management advice. Presents a six‐step model for effective infrastructure management.
