Involving Staff in the Process of Continuous Improvement
Abstract
Explores the relationship between staff, empowerment, organizational culture and the process of continuous improvement. Emphasizes the need for active involvement of all staff, management commitment and a management style which embraces the empowerment of staff. Suggests that the use of a staff suggestion scheme can become a useful and dynamic part of the journey to TQM and improving the quality of working life.
