PREPARING FOR THE TOP: THE BRITISH LIBRARY’S POLICY‐MAKING AND STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT COURSE

Abstract

Describes the first British Library‐sponsored Strategic Planning Course, which was held in 1991. Outlines the origins of the course, its aims and the approaches used. Identifies the outcomes for the participants, some of the lessons which were learned by the organizers and refers to the second course which was held in May 1993.
