Abstract

Examines the importance of training in today′s marketplace, at a time when a great many examples of technology, tools and techniques are at the disposal of companies. Investigates the costs of training and offsets this by examining the benefits. Concludes that companies are still wasting valuable resources by not properly addressing the requirements of individuals or organizations. There is an importance in providing the correct training for the correct person/organization at the correct time.
