Abstract

For many manufacturing companies reaching forward into Europe. Just‐in‐time (JIT) implementation is merely the start of the race. This may be difficult for those in the materials function who saw MRP as the be‐all‐and‐end‐all. Yet the integrated supply chain (ISC) cannot be tackled without the experience gained from MRP and JIT. Discusses, given that JIT is a prerequisite for ISC, how JIT can be used to advantage in an ISC culture.
