A new lecturer′s simple guide to quality issues in higher education

Abstract

All staff in higher education have a role to play in enhancing the quality of the student learning experience. Defines quality assurance, quality audit, quality assessment and quality framework. Investigates mechanisms for quality assurance and looks at the issues underlying the quality debate in the context of ever‐tightening resources.
