AB  - Purpose– This study aims to examine the current state of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) policies in the provision and utilization of library services and resources.Design– The population of the study consisted of all the Federal Universities of Nigeria. Out of the 80 questionnaires administered 36 (45 per cent) were answered and returned to the researcher.Findings– The results revealed that most Nigerian Universities have not adopted library ICT policies, and where the policies have been adopted and implemented, the libraries are faced with various constraints.Originality/value– The paper illustrates the current situation regarding ICT policies in Nigeria.
