For Gordon: some comments on architecture and its context

Abstract

Represents an approach to architectural thinking that grew out of some of my early interactions with Gordon Pask. It discusses the relationship between architecture and the cultural context within which architects work, noting the importance of distinguishing both the implicit as well as the explicit agendas that inform that work.
