TY - JOUR AB - This paper discusses the use of a complex‐valued reluctivity tensor for modelling non‐linear, anisotropic and hysteretic materials in a time‐harmonic finite element context. It is shown how these problems can be solved by the Newton‐Raphson method. The method is applied for the simulation of the magnetic field distribution in a three‐phase transformer.
