TY - JOUR AB - Individual Behaviour, Motivation Research, Simulation ModelsIf trainers are to earn the respect of companies with whom they work and for whom they take responsibility for training outcomes, they need to know that what they do is right. Trainers are often aware that they need to modify their behaviour from course to course or adopt different methods of training. However, they tend to rely on experience to make these changes. The Motivational Training Style Model, which now provides a practical training tool to help them, is reviewed. By linking Behaviour and Language to the Styles of the Model, trainers have a mechanism which enables them to choose the appropriate behaviour and methods for a given situation. This encourages learners to achieve the best learning they need in order to get positive results back at work.
