On Ideas of Socialist Commodity Economy

Abstract

China is now in the process of transition from an old to a new economic structure. The ideas of the old versus the new, the developing of new economic commodity ideas, co‐exists with the spread of old ideas; their coexistence and contradiction become the conspicuous phenomenon in the transitional period of economic structures in China. Therefore China faces a new task of ideological construction, the cultivation and development of civilised and healthy ideas of socialist commodity economy, to inspire socialist spirit in business behaviour.
