Abstract

In a modern, i.e. flexible and dynamic, company, the process of quality creation should be subordinated to global management. This means that the process of quality creation should be managed at an operational level, and the company as a whole should be managed by quality (management by quality) involving strategic levels, i.e. the Board of Directors. The aim of the paper is to show that ISO 9000 is a good platform from which to develop company growth. ISO gives support to the structural dimension of company management. Quality systems according to ISO 9000 have an impact on the behaviour of personnel, and simultaneously, changing behaviour helps towards the realisation of TQM.
