Abstract

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to provide a factual but also light‐hearted historical description of interlending and document supply in Estonia.

Design/methodology/approach

The article provides an informal discussion of interlending and document supply in Estonia.

Findings

The article finds that much has changed in interviewing and document supply in Estonia, since 1830 due to the disturbed history of the country

Originality/value

The article provides an easy to read description of document supply in Estonia – a country that has seen much turmoil in the last 100 years.
