AB  - Considers the possible overall effects of the current review of local
government in Britain on the management of the property assets of local
authorities. Draws attention to the present highly uncertain situation,
but assumes that reorganization will occur in some form. Considers the
ways in which the managers of these property assets may have to adapt,
and suggests that while the review may well present several threats,
there will be some countervailing opportunities for a more effective
strategic use of the property asset.
