Information Systems: The UK Retail Financial Services Sector
Abstract
Focuses on the retail sector of financial services in the UK. Describes the three stages of a model for business process transformations; administrative IT, market‐led IT and business process redesign, this last being revolutionary involving major changes. Goes on to show that this blend of changes is required to meet the challenges of modern organizations, particularly in the area of high risk information intensive financial services.
