Corporate partnering in facilities management

Abstract

Discusses the concept of partnering as a term which has recently emerged into common usage, without much clarity as to its correct meaning. Defines the concept as moving away from the earlier adversarial relationship in which both work together to their mutual advantage. Identifies the keys to success and the possible dangers; also identifies the role of the facilities manager in introducing this new way of working.
