Constant change is the only aspect of a business that is guaranteed. As managers, we must constantly evaluate both where the company is at the moment, and where it is heading. Those measurement tools can range from quantitative methods such as financial success, to qualitative milestones such as public awareness of the company and its products. Managers should look back at the company history – both successes and failures – to learn what changes to expect, and more importantly, what changes to prepare for.
