Abstract

The idea that knowledge is a competitive asset to be nurtured is now accepted universally. Interest in knowledge management continues to grow as organizations seek initiatives that will enable them to “cash in” on this resource. There are, however, barriers to this process which need to be acknowledged so that they can, one hopes, be overcome.
