WHY ISN′T WORK FUN?

Abstract

Fun, humour, is an essential element of enjoyment and a distinctively human attribute. Many factors are listed that contribute to people′s general enjoyment of life and satisfaction with work. The art of management is to a large extent concerned with “being human”. Advice is given on the diagnosis of barriers to job satisfaction and ways of making work more enjoyable.
