Will the team ethic fit within your organization’s culture?
Abstract
Claims that many attempts to introduce teamworking within organizations fail, and asserts that this is largely due to the underlying corporate culture; maintains that many organizations still have a hierarchical structure and use management practices which are incompatible with the concept of teamworking, and avers that teams require certain cultural characteristics to succeed. Reviews the dimensions of corporate culture, and relates them to the environment conducive to the effective use of teams.
