Implementing productivity management: why and how?
Abstract
Discusses the application of productivity improvement and productivity management programmes. Examines the issue of quantitative assessment and the risks that are stake if different paths of action are pursued. Considers some factors and constraints that limit the introduction and implementation of productivity management. Points a to a number of factors contributing to successful productivity management, and finally looks at the role of sociotechnological factors.
