Abstract

Partnership managers work within specific industries, extending and consolidating their industry′s links with education. This account looks at the experience of the retail sector′s partnership manager. It examines the process from marketing a concept; the aims and benefits of partnership to how these are being translated into action. There is also an account of the United States′ experience of education business partnerships; included because some of the strategies are similar but also because it highlights the United Kingdom′s strengths and advantages.
