Margaret Ashwell (Margaret Ashwell OBE was Science Director of the British Nutrition Foundation between 1988 and 1995 and Principal of the Good Housekeeping Institute from 1986 to 1988. She has been Programme Adviser for the MAFF Optimal Nutrition Status Programme since 1994. Since 1995, she has been Director of Ashwell Associates and has specialised in scientific co‐ordination and communication.
