Abstract

Discusses the results of a survey of students on the use of university library resources in Ibadan, Nigeria. Details the various services which are available and specifies a number of problems faced by students using the library. Examines frequency of use and information sources used by the respondents and identifies a search pattern for library materials. Finds that a number of students use other libraries for material not available in the university library. Suggests that the services of the library should be given more publicity and that co‐operation among academic and other libraries should be encouraged.
