TY - JOUR AB - The benefits of interlibrary co‐operation are considered, especially in the context of developing countries. The history of library co‐operation schemes throughout the world is briefly described. The constraints on interlibrary co‐operation are also considered. A survey of academic and research libraries in the Ibadan area is reported and a possible initial co‐operation scheme outlined.
