Assesses the effectiveness of a driver training programme in a major Parcelforce region. Measures the cost‐effectiveness of the training performance in terms of vehicle‐maintenance costs, accident rates and fuel consumption. Discusses the difficulties in measuring the cost‐effectiveness of training.
