USING THE LEARNING STYLES QUESTIONNAIRE
Abstract
This article aims to show how the Learning Styles Questionnaire (LSQ) can be used to explain Honey and Mumford′s Learning Styles Theory and explores how that information can help managers and trainees alike. The article is based on the author′s experience of giving a presentation to senior managers and explores how the information was used to raise their level of awareness about how people learn. The presentation concluded with all parties stressing the need to use the LSQ and the information it generated for them and their staff, e.g. developing training sessions geared to the learning style of the trainee to maximise their learning.
