Nutrition‐labelling Developments

Abstract

New legislation means that all nutrition information provided on food packaging will have to follow a standard format. Explains the legislation and the implications it will have for food manufacturers and retailers. The new UK regulations which implement the EC Nutrition Labelling Directive will take effect in October 1993.
