Background to The Health of the Nation

Abstract

Explains the background to the Green Paper, The Health of the Nation, which was published in the middle of 1991 and has stimulated much debate and discussion about future strategy towards government policy on health. Discusses what it is hoped to achieve when the new approach is implemented.
